The Minden Chamber of Commerce is a non-profit organization committed to advancing the economic, commercial, industrial, professional, civic, and cultural interests and general welfare of the City of Minden, Nebraska, and its trade area. We are proud to be a part of Minden’s past and will continue to work toward its bright future.
Established in 1942, the Minden Chamber is a diverse group of businesses and individuals working together to create a vibrant and thriving community right here in Central Nebraska!
We offer a range of programs and services designed to help our members grow their businesses, connect with other business leaders, and give back to our community.
As the voice of the local business community, the Chamber is dedicated to advocating for policies that support a strong and healthy local economy. Whether working with local government, state and federal agencies, or other organizations, the Chamber is always working to promote the interests of our members and the wider business community.
Lindsay has a passion for community development and brings a wealth of experience in designing and executing marketing strategies for non-profit organizations. She currently serves on the Minden Booster Club, CLJMS Parent Advisory Committee, Teammates Mentor, and the Kearney County Health Services Fund.
Chelsey is the current Principal at CL Jones Middle School in Minden. Her and her husband have 2 children. A proud University of Nebraska at Omaha alumni, Chelsey has a vast experience working with students from ages 3 through 21. Originally from Syracuse, Nebraska, she knows and appreciates the value of raising a family in a small-town atmosphere. Minden has felt like home immediately and there is a strong send of belonging within the community. Her and her family are proud to be Minden Whippets!
In a growing attempt to work closely with the City of Minden, City Administrator, Michael Krings, is an official member of the Chamber's Board of Directors. His past experience with the Hastings Chamber of Commerce is invaluable to help plan events and make Minden a town people are proud to live in and excited to visit.
We are currently looking for someone who is passionate about Minden and can oversee all functions of the office and the organization. While the majority of the
functions of the Chamber are carried out by the volunteer base, the Executive Director serves as coordinator,advisor and member advocate.
